CE-UY 4092 Leadership, Business Principles, Policy and Ethics in Civil Engineering2 Credits This course focuses on the professional practice of civil engineering and the role of the civil engineer in the planning, design, and construction processes. Topics include: professional roles and responsibilities; licensing, registration, and continuing education; engineering ethics; leadership, public policy and business principles; and engineering economics. The course also includes a zero-credit recitation that prepares students for the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) examination, for which civil engineering students must register prior to graduation.
