MG-UY 3404 Innovation Management4 Credits This course examines the key managerial features of technology-enabled innovation and new product development. It focuses on accessing innovative capabilities through R&D, acquisition, alliances, joint ventures and innovation- friendly cultures and organizations. The key perspective underlying this course is managerial. Although the innovation activities studied are overwhelmingly technology enabled ones, success is largely determined by managerial factors. The interplay between the technology and management leading to innovation is a major concern of the discussion and work in this course.
