IMPORTANT NOTICE: The Computer Engineering Graduate Certificate program is being phased out, and will no longer accept new applicants after the start of the Fall 2013 term. Students currently matriculated in this program will be allowed to complete their requirements. The Electrical and Computer Engineering Department will continue to offer courses that are required for the completion of these programs by current students. Please speak with the Advisor for Graduate Studies of the Department for more information.

Computer Engineering
For students looking to participate in one of the more rapidly expanding computer professions, this graduate certificate prepares them for work across the spectrum of computer engineering, from supercomputers to laptops. Graduates can play a significant role in networking computers with intelligent devices, designing specialized hardware, and monitoring and controlling industrial plants and the environment. They can enter such growth fields as computer graphics, robotics, biomedical devices and embedded hardware software systems. Required Courses (Choose 3)
