CE-UY 3543 Building Information Modeling3 Credits This course covers the application of building information modeling (BIM) and related technologies in design and construction. Students will learn how to prepare a building information model workflow and use it for planning, estimating, scheduling and coordinating construction projects. Students will also experience how to utilize laser scanning and virtual reality tools and data.
Prerequisite(s): One CE-UY 25xx course must be completed before enrolling in any CE-UY 35xx or 45xx course; A second CE-UY 25xx course is a co-requisite for a second CE-UY 35xx or CE-UY 45xx course Weekly Lecture Hours: 2.5 | Weekly Lab Hours: 1.5 | Weekly Recitation Hours: 0
