TR 6021 Quantitative Analysis in Transportation1.5 Credits An overview of basic concepts in statistics and analytical analysis that are commonly used in transportation engineering. Issues of sample size are addressed for both collection of field data and conducting various types of user surveys. Statistical interpretation of study results is also treated. Introductions, with transportation illustrations, to queuing theory, regression analysis, and ANOVA are included.
