EC-UY 2524 Managerial Microeconomics4 Credits An advanced course in microeconomics for students with appropriate mathematical background. This course presents microeconomic analysis and its application to business decision making. Fundamentals of the Theory of the Firm, the Theory of the Consumer and market structure and competition are presented, including both theoretical models and quantitative analysis techniques. Advanced topics in information asymmetries and externalities are presented.
Required for students in the BTM Program.
Prerequisite(s): MA-UY 1252 Calculus for Business and Life Sciences IIA Note: Does not satisfy general education requirements in humanities and social sciences. Offered and administered by Department of Technology Management and Innovation.
