Physics is the basic science of the natural world, the study of matter, energy and motion. Worthy of study for its own beauty, physics is also the foundation of engineering and the natural sciences.

Goals and Objectives

The mission of the Applied Physics Program is to provide undergraduates at the Polytechnic School of Engineering with a strong foundation in physics, suited to the discipline, and to offer advanced opportunities for formal study in physics.
